My name is Jon Takacs and I work for Harris County Precinct 3. Joe McCall retired from our department some years ago. We used to see him now and then and he would come to our Christmas parties and other retirees parties. We have not seen him for quite some time now and were wondering about his status. We know he was not in good health with his emphysema. I called the lodge the other day and a woman who was very nice told me he passed away last year. I was wondering if anyone knew the date and any details so I could pass on the information to my fellow and his fellow workers from Precinct 3. I am sorry to hear the news of his passing. I tried to find an obituary on the internet but was unsuccessful. I think his wife's name was Holly. If you have any information it would be much appreciated.
